The quality isn't very good on this recording. It was recorded with a hand held tape recorder and 2 hand held microphones when the band was playing at Murphy's Chuckwagon. I had to include it because of the AWESOME drum solo by Jim Pagano. It still makes me smile and gives me chills when I listen to it. IT'S AWESOMELY SPECTACULAR! And by the way, that's a single peddle bass drum. The picture is the only one I have of Jim playing. It was taken at the 132 Club in Trenton on Halloween. All the band members dressed up. Sorry Jim.

One of 6 original songs from the Cut Glass RCA recording. This is a very personal song written by Tom Marolda (one of the Cut Glass founders) because within a 10 day span he lost his mother, his father and his grandmother. It attempts to explain a life none of us knew or really thought about until we sat on the recording studio floor after countless hours of recording and listened to ourselves for the first time. The ending of the song was added in the studio to give time to reflect on the everlasting pain of death and the potential happiness of a meeting in the future between tightly knit family members.

Another song from the RCA recording, this was an optimistic song written so the band could have fun and kick hard for a few minutes. (written by Tom Marolda)

This song soon became the theme song of Cut Glass. The more the group was forced to alter its initial goals the more they reflected on this song. It represents individuals and groups alike and it asks the question "Am I wrong to pursue my life long dream."

Steve (the trombone player) relayed a story to me that he seemed to remember Tom Marolda was in his bedroom one day and watched a bird fly around, land on the window sill, fly around, land on the window sill, and did this several more times until it finally flew away.

Another original (the short version) from the RCA recording. This song closed each set. I think it speaks for itself.
